Nestled along the stunning Pacific coastline, this restaurant design embodies the essence of coastal elegance with a focus on creating a dining experience that celebrates its breathtaking natural surroundings.
The design brief challenged us to create a space that would not only showcase the panoramic ocean views but also reflect the relaxed yet sophisticated atmosphere that defines California coastal dining. Working closely with renowned chef Marcus Brennan, we crafted an interior that complements his locally-sourced, seafood-focused menu.
Design Approach
A harmonious blend of nature and elegance
Our approach centered on creating an open, airy space that blurs the boundaries between indoor and outdoor living. Floor-to-ceiling retractable glass walls allow the ocean breeze to flow through the dining area, while carefully positioned seating ensures every guest enjoys the spectacular views.
We curated a palette of weathered woods, natural stone, and textured fabrics in shades of sand, sea glass, and driftwood to evoke the coastal environment, creating a dining experience that feels both luxurious and authentically connected to its seaside location.

Main Dining Area
The heart of the restaurant features tiered seating to ensure ocean views from every table, with a central fireplace that provides warmth and ambiance during evening service.
Bar & Lounge
A convivial space featuring a dramatic backlit onyx bar top and custom-crafted stools. The bar area serves as both a waiting space and a destination in itself, with a carefully curated wine and cocktail program.
Oceanfront Terrace
The expansive outdoor dining deck features retractable awnings, integrated heating elements, and glass windbreaks to ensure comfortable year-round use while maintaining the connection to the ocean environment.
